2019 Quartz Mountain Flyer Runs

2019 Quartz Mountain’s Eagle Watches: “In Search of Eagles”
Saturday January 5th
Sunday January 6th
Saturday January 12th
Sunday January 13th

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
-Meet at Group Camp (across from Quartz Mountain Grocery Store-CLOSED for winter) for a short informative presentation before caravanning around Lake Altus-Lugert in personal vehicles.
-Bring binoculars / spotting scopes if you have them- often the eagles are perched some distance away.
-Dress for morning low temperatures.
-Inclement weather (freezing rain /ice) will cancel program but just cold weather will not.

Due to reported Budget Cuts
Nature Center is CLOSED
Naturalist Programs are NOT available

Camping is on 1st come - 1st served basis

Reservations are not taken for individual camp sites.
A site must be occupied by a sleeping accommodation.
An RV, a tent, or semi- with a sleeper cab are all acceptable sleeping accommodations.
Picnic tables, lawn chairs, coolers, pick-up trucks, boats or jet skis are not acceptable sleeping accommodations.

Quartz Mountain Golf Course Hours:
9:00 AM - 5:00 Carts in by 4:45PM
CLOSED Mondays
AND when temperatures are below 40degrees
