Scout Programs
Naturalist programs have a variety of formats: walks & talks, slide-shows,
in-class presentations and group "workshop" style. Topics of programs
varies greatly. Check out the "Available Programs" link below.
The Nature center is has moved to its own building in Scissortail Campground and has
permanent displays of: skulls, pelts and tracks of common animals.
Seasonal display topics include: attracting butterflies, bald eagles,
deer, feeding winter birds, raccoons, rattlesnakes and many more.
In Park
Programs can be scheduled for when you visit the park,
look at the list of available programs and call Sue at (580) 563-2238 to schedule an In Park Naturalist program.
In School
Or at the Library, or at your meeting place, programs may be scheduled
where the Naturalist comes to you. Topics could include Current Events at Quartz Mountain or
